With the weather warming up these gentle giants are a common site around West Cornwall. Porthcurno Beach is only a few miles from the hotel and is wonderful location to view Basking Sharks.

St. Michael's Mount, the most famous landmark in Cornwall, is just a short drive away and can be walked to when the tide is low.

Land's End is also very near as is the Minack Theatre, a wonderful open air theatre carved out of the hillside and cliffs overlooking Porthcurnow. The theatre regularly puts on performances of Shakespeare and well known musicals.
Walk the beautiful and varied coastal footpaths and explore the ancient Celtic history with standing stone circles, quoits and bronze age villages. A short visit to the enchanting Isles of Scilly is available by boat, aeroplane or helicopter. |
