All our staff at The Queens are hugely experienced. Our chefs use local produce wherever possible, including a variety of fresh Newlyn seafood and locally farmed meats. Even though we serve our Table D’hote menu every evening throughout the year our chefs can tailor their food to suit your requirements, be it buffet, canapés or simply pastries.
As we are situated on the Promenade between Penzance and Newlyn the wonderful
views over Mounts Bay are inescapable; our inspirational setting is truly one of
the Hotel’s main assets. Having a drink in the ‘Sun Lounge’ whilst enjoying the
view over St Michael’s Mount is an unforgettable experience.
Our size also means we can offer extremely competitive Bed and Breakfast rates
for over night functions. We have free over night parking and extensive free
wireless access.
Privacy
Whatever your companies’ size The Queens has the right conference/dining room
for you to use in private. ‘The Lounge’ is a spacious Victorian function room
commanding spectacular views over Mounts Bay. Although smaller than our main
Promenade Restaurant it can comfortably seat thirty diners and up to fifty with
‘conference’ style seating. We also have a fully licensed bar and serve tea and
coffee throughout the day. ‘The Reading Room,’ like ’The Lounge,’ is ideally
suited to a private business lunch or seminar. Though smaller it is absolutely
equal in character, catering for approximately sixteen diners or thirty with
theatre seating. Both of these function rooms have natural light in abundance
and give you access to all the Hotel’s facilities with the added assurance of
total privacy.
Flexibility
Aside from the two function rooms described above, The Queens has for years
catered for large business seminars in our renowned ball room. This means we are
as experienced at looking after two clients as we are two hundred. This
flexibility is something we are very proud of. Indeed, we have the staff to
clear conference tables or seating within minutes to tailor you're room / rooms
quickly and efficiently. The Hotel has over seventy bedrooms which can also be
used, as well as the reading room, to accommodate smaller groups in a syndicate
