Stayed at Queens Hotel for a weekend break alone , travelled by train which is a lovely picturesque way to see the southwest. Staff made me feel welcome and comfortable travelling as a solo woman from Australia, Dinner in their dining room was delicious with a limited menu of local product but beautifully cooked and fresh. Water veiws and promenade along the seafront makes it a refreshing location. Single room with ensuite no 21 is just perfect for the solo traveller. PV Australia (TripAdvisor)

I wish to complement you and your excellent team for the wonderful service provided.

We were looked after extreamly well throughout and we had a most enjoyable week. Everyone was friendly, the service was of the highest quality and nothing was too much trouble.

The Queens Hotel is a far cry from what has come to pass as normal - phones with a long list of options,

non existants or, those whose only interest is to get the sale with as little help and service as possible. Everyone at the Queens Hotel went out of their way to be helpful"

Quite apart from the fantastic sea-front location, we found the hotel comfortable and all it's staff very helpful and provided us with great service. The food was first class. Charlie our dog - who was made to feel very welcome - was also so impressed he made it very clear that he wants to spend more time at the Queens in the future.
